Systems Engineering

Paramount’s systems engineering services are designed to provide the life cycle support needed for the full project or for implementing selected phases of a project. We provide solutions ranging from business consulting and infrastructure support to application development and integration. Our advanced management methods use tools to conduct technical, engineering and test efforts including operations analysis, engineering analysis, deck-plate engineering, system ship-board evaluations and problem isolation and resolution.

Logistics Engineering

Paramount provides the full range and depth of Total Life Cycle Systems Management services. Our Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Program performs business process re-engineering and logistics analysis to integrate systems into the engineering process while making these systems reliable, maintainable, supportable, and productive. This program encompasses “cradle-to-grave” logistics to ensure the development and maintenance of various management plans, budgets, lifecycle plans, and procedures. Paramount’s efficiency will provide an operationally effective system that will help reduce time while still being cost effective. Our personnel have the expertise to perform logistical tasks including regular equipment configuration audits and logistics certification audits.

Due to the linkage between systems engineering and logistics Paramount Solutions creates a balance between Systems Engineering and Total Life cycle Systems Management which enhances our design for optimal system operational effectiveness. The purpose of these methodologies is to provide the most capable cost effective systems possible in both the short- and long-terms.

  

Supply Chain Management — Depot Management and Materials Purchases

Paramount can also undertake Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts  where we will then define and implement a logistics system which will support the company needs to the level desired. We have access to space and resources for depot operation efforts and can provide the necessary program management, technical, and administrative resources. Our supply chain management process is not just a software implementation project but also a re-engineering effort that may cut across multi-department boundaries of a business unit. Our goal is to add efficiency, cut costs, and deliver high quality and value to our customers. The four basic components of our supply chain management program are:

  • Strategic pre-planning: We perform a pre-implementation analysis to understand the customer’s current supply chain process.
  • Source identification: We identify the suppliers that will provide the materials or services needed by the customer; we also create metrics for monitoring the relationships and put together processes for managing the inventory.
  • Schedule manufacturing activities: This is the metric-intensive component of the supply chain since it measures quality, production output, and worker productivity.
  • Logistics: We coordinate the receipt of orders, create a network of warehouses, find carriers to deliver products to customers, and create an invoicing system for receipt of payments.
